Usage & limits

Understand your usage gauges and what happens when your organization reaches a plan limit.

Your organization's current usage is always visible from Settings → Plans, shown as simple gauges rather than raw numbers you have to interpret.

What the gauges show

  • Seats — how many members you have versus your plan's limit.
  • Workspaces — how many workspaces you've created versus your plan's limit.
  • Personas — how many personas exist across your organization versus your plan's limit.
  • AI credits — how much of this period's AI allowance you've used. Credits are spent as you chat with personas in interviews and generate content with AI.

Each gauge resets or updates as your usage changes — deleting a persona, for instance, frees up room in the personas gauge right away.

What happens at the limit

When your organization is at a plan's limit for a given type of item, Personæ blocks the action that would push you over it, with a clear message explaining why:

  • Creating a new persona is blocked once you're at your persona limit.
  • Creating a new workspace is blocked once you're at your workspace limit.
  • Inviting a new member is blocked once you're at your seat limit.

The same rule applies when restoring something from Trash: if restoring an item would put you back over your plan's limit, the restore is blocked until you free up room.

How to get unblocked

You have two options: free up room (delete or archive something of the same type) or upgrade your plan from Plans & pricing to raise the limit.

AI credits run out faster than the others

Unlike seats, workspaces, and personas — which only change when you add or remove something — credits are consumed continuously as your team uses the product. If you're running low before the period resets, upgrading raises your monthly allowance immediately.
