Editing & versions
Update a persona's details at any time, and keep track of how it has changed.
Open a persona and select Edit to update any of its fields — name, background, goals, pain points, and every other detail.
Versions
Every time you save a meaningful change, Personæ keeps a version of the persona. This means:
- You always know a persona reflects your latest thinking, without losing the history of how it evolved.
- Anything generated from the persona — its exported PDF, a shared link — reflects the current version.
Editing doesn't affect past interviews
Updating a persona changes how it will answer in future interviews. Transcripts of conversations you already had are preserved as they happened.
Where edits ripple
Because a persona is reused everywhere — the picker when starting an interview, the list shown when attaching a memory, its avatar shown in insights — editing a persona's name or avatar updates it consistently across the whole app.
